Depilazione luce pulsata. La mia esperienza, i risultati, le sensazioni e tutto ciò che devi conoscere su questo metodo di epilazione definitiva.

Pronti, partenza, via! Dopo averti parlato della depilazione definitiva laser ho ricevuto tantissime domande: chi mi chiedeva se fosse efficace, chi se fosse dolorosa e chi mi chiedeva la differenza  tra luce pulsata e laser. Ho risposto a quasi tutte le domande in questo post ma restava ancora un quesito irrisolto: laser o luce pulsata?

Così ho deciso di testare la depilazione luce pulsata sulla mia pelle ed oggi posso finalmente risponderti.

Ho deciso di testare questa tipologia di trattamento nella mia città, a Bergamo, presso il centro Epilate in Via Spaventa (a 2 passi dal centro).

Alt! Prima di procedere con i dettagli ti informo che la depilazione luce pulsata è definitivamente una tecnologica obsoleta, motivo per il quale il centro Epilate offre una depilazione definitiva con SWT, un’evoluzione della luce pulsata.

Passiamo ora alle domande più comuni alle quali ti rispondo subito.

Cosa significa epilazione definitiva con SWT? L’acronimo sta per Selective Waveband Technology.

In cosa consiste? Questa apparecchiatura seleziona con la massima precisione l’emissione della lunghezza d’onda luminosa necessaria a colpire il solo target che ci interessa, ovvero quello della melanina del pelo.

Ci sono degli aspetti negativi? Con questa nuova tecnologia non rischiamo di colpire altri target (ad esempio l’emoglobina o l’acqua presente nei tessuti), cosa che genererebbe effetti indesiderati tipo bruciature o macchie.

Quanto costa? Il costo per ogni seduta Epilate nel centro di Bergamo è di 38 €

Quante sedute sono necessarie? Dipende dalla tipologia di pelo, dalla zona trattata e dalla tua pelle. Solitamente da un minimo di 6 ad un massimo di 10 sedute.

È doloroso? Rispetto al laser questa tipologia di epilazione è più dolorosa, ma sopportabile. Si tratta di un mix tra il dolore di un pelo strappato con la pinzetta e un calore simile alla lampada abbronzante.

Quanto dura un seduta? È questione di secondi, minuti se scegli di trattare una zona estesa come le gambe.

After I spoke of permanent hair removal with laser I have received many questions: who asked me if it were effective, who if it were painful and those who asked me the difference between pulsed light and laser. I answered almost all the questions in this post but there was still an unresolved question: laser or pulsed light?

So I decided to test the pulsed light hair removal on my skin and now I can finally answer.

I decided to test this type of treatment in my city, in Bergamo, at the center Epilate in Via Spaventa (2 steps from the center).

Alt! Before proceeding with the details I inform you that the pulsed light hair removal is definitely an obsolete technology, reason why the Epilate center offers a permanent hair removal with SWT, an evolution of the pulsed light.

Let us now turn to the most common questions that I answer you right away.

What does SWT mean? The acronym stands for Selective Waveband Technology.

What is it about? This equipment selects as precisely the issue of the wavelength of light needed to hit the target only that interests us, namely that of the melanin in the hair.

Are there any downsides? With this new technology we risk not to hit other targets (like hemoglobin or water present in the tissues), which would generate side effects such burns or stains.

How muchi it costs? The cost for each Epilate sitting in the center of Bergamo is 38 €

How many sessions are needed? It depends on the type of hair, from the treated area, and from your skin. Usually from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10 sessions.

Is it painful? Compared to laser hair removal, this  is more painful, but bearable. It is a mix between the pain of a torn hair with tweezers and a heat similar to the sun lamp.

How long is a session? It’s a matter of seconds, minutes if you choose to treat a large area as the legs.
